Why Montessori School at Emory?
For more than 30 years the Montessori School at Emory has been providing authentic AMI accredited Montessori education to children in the Decatur/Emory area. Our certified, dedicated teachers are committed to assisting the development of the whole child in a global community.
Teacher Training
MSAE is certified through Association Montessori International. Our teachers are all AMI trained and contracted teachers. The majority of our teaching staff have been with the school for 6 plus years. The Head of School is also an AMI certified teacher and has been at MSAE for 19 years.
Year Round Schooling
Montessori School at Emory provides Montessori education for toddlers and Primary age children throughout the summer for families that choose the twelve month option. Families may also take summers off if they choose and return in August.
Weekly summer camps are available for elementary students during June and July.
Exceptional Facilities
Montessori School at Emory is one of the only Montessori Schools in the Atlanta area that has a full gymnasium that includes a stage for performances. MSAE also boasts a new gated field space for outdoor sports activities.

Early Morning Start
Early care between 7:00am and 8:00am is available to all of our families at no additional cost.
Lunch Service
Montessori School at Emory provides lunch for all of our students as a service of the school along with one to two snacks depending on the length of the students day. Lunches are prepared on site in the school kitchen. There is no additional cost for lunch.
Middle School Offered
Our middle school students are a community of learners that work in an atmosphere of respect and support. Real life experiences give meaning to the challenging academic work and offer opportunities for leadership and responsibility.
Spanish
Spanish language programming is introduced during a child third year in Primary with simple songs and stories and continues through to the Middle School Program with Spanish morning emersion
